We received 5 books written in Spanish, but at a beginner's reading level. The Spanish teacher wanted some books our first year Spanish students could read but they couldn't be children's books. I think we found some great ones, a series in fact.
They are called

I took two years of Spanish in High School and none in college. I can mostly follow along, so I am sure you could if you are taking a Spanish class.
