How to Art Books

We recently decided to increase our art section and I asked the art teachers what books they would like us to purchase. They in turn asked the people whose opinions matter most at a college: the students. They requested books about how to use art techniques better, rather than books about specific artists. So here is the first batch of technique art books:

Advanced Digital Black and white Photography by John Beardsworth

The Potter's Studio Handbook by Kristen Muller

Dynamic Wrinkles and Drapery by Burne Hagarth

Painting Class: Oil by David Sanmiguel

Problem Solving for Oil Painters by Gregg Kreutz

Design Basics by David Lauer and Stephen Pentak

How to Make Watercolor Paint Itself by Nita Engle

Keys to Drawing by Bret Dodson

and Creating Texture in Watercolor by Cathy Johnson
