Art Books keep coming

There are 4 new art books: 2 on photography and 2 on painting:

Mastering Black and White Photography by Bernhard Suess gives a history of photogarphy and the camera and then gives specific ideas and techniques for taking better photos in its original color scheme: black and white.

Photographing the Weather by by Storm Dunlop (perfect name for the subject) takes us to the place all photographers have gotten to: wow that is pretty, how do I capture it. Lots of ideas and images.

Oil Painting for the Serious Beginner: Basic Lessons in Becoming a Good Painter by Steve Allrich approaches painting with honest intent and not too many mandatory rules. Easy going and starts at the beginning, but would ge great for a more experienced painter as well.

Brushwork Essentials: How to render Expressive form and texture with Every Stroke by Mark Christopher Weber demonstrates multi-color loading, proper angle techniques and a discussion of bush differences. Full of beautiful color photographs, paintings and examples.
