Peoples' Choice Ballots

The ballots for Peoples' Choice awards for the Art show are ready. They are available at the table in the Main Hallway Gallery, close to the office here at Del Norte. Just fill one out with your three favorite pieces from the 2009 Spring Art show and we will award the artist with the most votes this new award.

Spring Student Art Show

Today is the last day to turn in your art created in art class this semester for the Student Spring Art Show. Bring it here to the library and fill out an entry form. The art wil be judged this year by three local artists.

The Art show will open on Friday with judging. There will be something new this year: a people's choice award given. Cast your votes Friday through Wednesday at noon. The Art Show reception will be on Wednesday April 22 from 3-5pm. See you then.

Library Survey time

This week we get to take a survey about Library services. If you are lucky, you will be in the library one of the three magical times per day when I ask people if they would like to take the survey. Fingers crossed!

Scheculed Events that use the library

There will be a board meeting on our Del Norte campus on Monday April 6. The Board will meet in the library, and the library will be closed. However, students can still access important online databases and the library catalog in a different lab being opened that day specifically to meet the needs of students.

DN 2(the computer lab in the Nursing building) will (hopefully) be open from 8 am to 3 pm. There will be a student or staff person in there to help students with their research.
